I feel your pain! I don't know why people don't have respect for other peoples property.

Just went through the same issue, but luckily it wasn't with my G. I bought my wife a little Miata for Christmas so she could have a convertible to play with during the summer. Made sure that it was in really good shape....

Then she goes to get in the car one day and sees this:

HOLY S#!%. How freaking hard do you have to hit a car with your door to put this kind of a dent in it? There is no way they could do that without knowing. The dent was over 3 inches long!

Body shops wanted over $700 to fix it. Finally found a dentless repair shop that fixed it for $200 - it isn't perfect but it's a hell of a lot better. If I could find the person that did that......

Couldn't you just pop that out? if there is no scratch..

I am calling a dent guy tomorrow. Hopefully, they are open tomorrow. I can't stand looking at it! heartache just looking at it.

I've had my car whacked by doors on all but the right rear door. Terrible.

Unfortunately at the top it was a pretty severe crease - so even the dentless repair could only get it about 95%

Just got back from a body shop.. they said they couldn't remove the dent the cheap way. Because it is double panel area. They have to remove a lot of stuff and sand the area and paint it.

Sorry to hear and see such a crap.

None of my G had it so far.Knock on the wood. Kind of scared to go for a tripp starting tomorrow. Stay in Halifax for 2 nights and bunch of small places before and after which I have no problem. Kind of affraid of bigger city like Halifax. Poor G out in the parking lot all night.

Next time I see some b1tch leave a shopping cart in the parking lot I'm gonna tell the fat azz to take it the 20 steps to the damn cart corral. You can park as far away as you want but when the wind is whipping these things around there is no place to hide.

It was a hard place to get to. Right above the rear tire, double panel. He was going to drill a hole inside the rear tire panel to reach in, but it was too close to read fender. He was afraid he might drilled too deep and hit the rear fender. So he decided to drill hole right inside the gas tank cover and reach down. The dent is gone, but there is a tiny mark there, but you can hardly see it. You have to be real close to feel it in order to see it.

I went to couple of body shops. One qouted me 495 dollars to fix, They want to remove a lot of stuff and do the filler and repaint it.

The other wants to drill a hole too for 250 dollars.

I found mobile dent guy. He suggested drilling hole too for $65 bucks. He is my hero! When he drilled the hole in to my baby. It was painful, but in the end. My baby is nice and clean.

Now, I have to go clean bird's poop on my car.
