we have to...it's our only choice because we can't afford a 1700$ AEM EMS stand alone...remember your stock motor uses a MAF so it must have a significance

rom tuning can eliminate the mafs and make the engine run off the the tps or map or whatever combination you desire...

lots of learning to be done if you're interested in this stuff though, cause it's diy for the most part. as an engineering student though it's very obvious that it's like being in a candy store when i have that kind of information given to me for free...

it all just depends on how much you like diy stuff. for me it's the best way.

i think he needs to look into why we use an MAF, our MAF options, and then hacked MAF's to get an idea as to why 99% of us use one

bwahahahha i didn't even look at the sn. not to jump on the bashing bandwagon but you are just full of great questions. lol. start reading and learning. by the way, people can tell when you don't know what the hell you're talking about because a lot of people on this forum have a good deal of experience with cars... you can't bs your way through everything so just be honest when you don't know something and people will answer your questions instead of putting you down. just try it, or don't and get laughed at for the rest of your life.

I don't get it. Or maybe he means he wants to use a pressure sensor and convert the signal to a maf signal. Who knows, probably a freshman engineering major that just started engineering 1A and thinks he knows more than Nissan engineers. It's cool, some bio majors think they can do surgery and it's really funny.
