So my car has now developed the all too common window rattle. I have had problems with the windows since i bought the car new. I called yesterday to make an appointment to get the window taken care of and have an oil change done while I am at home for Xmas. So after setting the appointment, I make sure he provides a car since he said it would take a few hours. To which he replies that he would not give me a car since I did not buy the car from them. Its also important to note that this is our 3rd infiniti and the previous two were 1995 and 1999 infiniti Q45s, both bought and serviced at I of FW. Mind you, I bought the car only after price shopping with I of FW and them not being able to match a competing dealer's price. Not only were they not able to match it, but they were rude about it too. I bought my fully loaded (39k) G for around 31 from a dealer in Chicago vs their 1500 off sticker for the lone silver base model. Anyways, I immediately call Infiniti Customer Relations. They immediately tell me that what the dealer said was completely wrong and that they are obligated by the Manufacturer to provide me with a car due to warranty work and the fact that the car only has 10k miles on it. They elevated my complaints to the district manager for Infiniti and went ahead and called the local dealer here in Indianapolis (Dreyer and Reinbold) and even set up an appointment for the dealer to come pick up the car from my school and leave me a loaner. Moral of the story, dont accept ****ty service from anyone and more importantly, don't go to Infiniti of Fort Wayne.

BTW, i bought my car in March. Infiniti of Fort Wayne still has that lone 2006 Base g35 coupe. Who would have thought that it wouldnt sell? morons

Good for you in your persistence. We have a similar situation here in Central NJ with an overpriced Infiniti dealer. I traveled 25 miles away and saved over $3500 when I purchased mine. Shortly after the purchase, the overpriced dealer sent me a letter offering to do the required service and inviting me in. When I did stop in to purchase a few oil filters and a cabin filter their prices were out of sight & they wouldn't accept the Infiniti parts discount card that I received from the dealer that I purchased from.I haven't been back there since. The question that you can always ask dealers that piss you off is "do they run their business so inefficiently as compared to another dealer that has lower prices that they have to charge you the customer so much more?"
