ok i got my car started, it had a broken clamp on the intercooler piping, it turns on, but it only revs itself to 3k i cant get it down. and when open the throttle its starts dieing like its choking, i guess not engouh fuel, or something, i tried pretty much anything, different CAS, DIffreent TPS, and unpluged the MAF and pluged it back in when i took of MAF it died, pluged it back in and it started again to 3 k rpms, could it be droping resistor?

revving to 3k on its own w/ throttle plate closed? propbably have either a vacuum leak behind the TB or you have the throttle cable adjusted too tight.

had it too tight once myself, and while it didn't rev itself up, after I pushed in the gas and let go it wouldn't come back down, it kept going up.. had to pull the pedal back with my foot.

i had the cable off so it couldnt have been to tight, ill check for vacuum leaks on the manifold though, thanks for the idea

Yup 100% if throttle plate is closed you have a leak after it.

I checked for leaks on the intake mani and the intercooler found one, and fixed it, still idles at 3k, then did self diagnostic and codes 12 and 13 came up? woul dit just idle that high if they were bad anyways?

check your knock sensor. mine wasnt wired up directly to the ecu at first, and it did what yours is doing. Just an idea.

Again, you still have a leak after the throttle plate, 100%. Or your throttle plate isn't closed. Think about it, to idle that high it needs a certain amount of air, if throttle plate is closed is has to get it from somewhere else. Maybe the 10mm bolt that adjusts idle (forgot what that valve is called) isn't even there. Do you hear a loud sucking noise coming from around the intake manifold?

lol if you cant find it by aiming, just spray it everywhere in the throttle body area.. your sure to find it then.. have you checked your ecu for codes? mine did what yours is doing and i got the knock sensor code. wired up my sensor, and ran like a dream.
