Recently I was told by a friend who was following behind my car that my rear right wheel was wobbling... i drove home jacked it up, checked the rim, rim isn't bent, pushed and pulled on suspension components to look for play, no dice...

I have a notion that this may be two things, a bent axel, or a wheel bearing, can some at least confirm this before i go buy the parts

And if there is anything else you can think of please tell me...

I need this car to be in good running shape by next week

I can feel it slightly... there is no grinding yet... i have a feeling this goes a little deeper then an alignment, but i'll take that into consideration...

maybe all you needed to do was tighten the lug nuts. have someone follow you again and see if it's gone.

Wait, how exactly did you check the wheel for round??? it needs to be checked on a spin balancer at a shop. bent axle is a possibility... there's more bent axles out there than people realize.

FOR THE RECORD: your car's alignment, and the changing of alignment, affects the angles at which your tire travels and meets the road surface. out of alignment will not EVER result in a wobble, shake, shimmy. Wobbles are caused by bent wheels/axles/loose lug nuts/out of round tires(although almost unnoticeable on passenger car tires)/imbalance or any combination of these.

I need more time to figure out the problem.... i think my brakes may also play a roll in this problem...

The reason i am taking the car to an alignment place is because i haven't done one scince my little accident, and possibly to get a sceond opinion on my problem.... not to actually fix the wheell

after i got my car fixed from a little accident i had, i didnt realize my wheel was bent and i didnt know it wobbled, but someone followed me like 5 miles just to pull me over and tell me that it looked dangerous. i never expected anyone to drive that long just to give me a warning.:D

Kudos to those people... if there was more people like that on the road driving would be far more enjoyable...

Simple, move the suspect wheel to the frt. and the frt to the rear and have someone follow you and check the wheel. If you feal a vibration in the steering or your friend may be able to see the wobble in the frt. It,s the tire or the rim. If the wobble is still in the rear it,s axle.
