First of all... sorry for the poor picture quality. It was the best I could manage with a camera-phone while driving.

I was driving home from work when I passed this car... I was so aghast by the horror of it that I barely managed to snap a picture before it exited the highway.

Not sure on the make... I think it was a mid 90's Olds Cutlass... maybe a Lumina? Not sure. Anyway... it was completely stock, and a total POS. But, it did have the rear end lifted like 6" and had these huge "drag car" style wheels/tires on the back axle. Now, aside from being ridiculous looking... I am pretty sure the car is FWD. So, did they add those huge rear wheels to handle traction from all the huge (72hp?) that the FRONT wheels are producing.

Ok... so aside from being an embarrasingly bad idea to trick out the car, there is one more factor that forced me to take a picture. The driver? About 70 year old lady... thats right, a Q-tip, cotton top, blue hair... fresh from the geriatric ward. WTF?

I am pretty sure I repeated both of these responses, almost verbatim, to myself as I attempted to resolve what I had just seen in my mind.

Sadly, I believe an aneurysm will be the end result as I have had a frontal lobe ache ever since I snapped the picture.

it really is AMAZING what people will do to their cars, thinking it makes the car look better!!!! i say,,,rims/tires, tint, modest---MODEST spoilers (front-rear) and that's it (oh yeah,,,,,good paint and waxed!!). very rare to see a heavily (exterior) modded car looking good. there's a guy who lives around me that has a white corvette, looks like an early 90's late 80's (hard to tell!!!), anyway,,he's got the most AMAZING amount of crap painted, bolted, stamped, glued, and wired to that vette. it literally looks like one of those old school rides at the carnival, ya know, the carrosele ride with cars and motorcycles you'd sit on and hit the button to make the horn work!!! it's an older couple and i only see it on the weekends when they're all dressed up so i'm sure he thinks he's the "bomb"!!!! LOL i've got to take a picture of it!!!!!
