But now I am good for another 165 000 kms.

Cause I called a garage who I dealt with and they did not want to take the job. Too many stupid little things like a special socket....... I kinf of warned him and he looked into it.

For the 50 bucks I would of saved, I did go with the dealer.

Special socket? So not as easy to DIY as other cars?

it requires a slim/narrow and very long socket to get in there. It is not a special tool just not an everyday type item.

it dosent require anything more than 14 mm deep well socket and a long set of needle nose pliers. Oh and removing the intake manifold. But 32 dollars a plug. the plugs are 9 bucks a peice. you got ripped.

I wont disagree that at 32 bucks per plug hurt the most but the rest I was ok with. The reason I say that that I would of had to pay alot more if I cross threaded the plug on the way in. The $130 it cost me in labour would of looked like penneys. Trust me, I am the first to look at the cost but in this case, I sucked it up and the dealer here always takes great care of me! They are worth the extra I paid for.

Next time I am passing by the dealer I am going to find out if I can bring my own in and have them do the labor part only.

I'm sure they would, just make sure you watch them install it. Dealerships are known to take the good and put in the crappy behind your back.

we have customers bring in there own parts alot, no big dealmake sure you have the right plugs, i've had several issues on vehicles recently which was nothing more than some mom and pop shop put the wrong plug in, our dealer its like 11 bucks a plug, well worth it to run good without any issues, aftermarket ignition products are not good for nissans ive found, same with alternators and starters
