i would test that actuator before installing it into the car, make sure the rod doesnt bind and you have enough travel to open the wastegate, also do yourself a favor and get an exhaust shop to install a flex section into your downpipe so you dont prematurly crack your manifold.

If you notice, the downpipe he is using has the transmission mount on it. You don't need a flex section. And the fact he is using nismo motor mounts makes it even less of a risk of cracking. Flex section is more important on FWD cars where the motor flexes front to back instead of side to side.

S13 SR t25 off a blacktop. 27000 miles. It has no shaft play, spins really good.

Yeah Ive thought that through already, it dont need no stinking flex pipe. , actuator is fine, I saw it work on an SR.

well you changed the clocking on the turbo, and from your picture, the rod is at a very extreme angle and you will want to make sure it doesnt bind on the side of the hole, when i installed my SR turbo i cut and threaded the rod and made a custom bent rod so that it exited the acuator straight, and pushed straight on the wastegate arm.

its your choice on the flexpipe, i wasnt aware you are using nismo mounts, not that it matters all that much, your exhaust swinging back and forth transfering that motion like a huge cheater bar on a wrench, unless you solid mounted your exhaust to the car, which i know you didnt.

flexpipe is not just for fwd cars, ppl on here need to realize that because everytime i bring up flexpipes, ppl try to educate me on why they use them on FWD cars. i know why. its the same reason they use them on RWD cars, to absorb movement. 30$ flex section VS. money and time spent fixing or replacing your cracked manifold, its not that dificult of a decision. but hey, these are just suggestions, you posted up on a forum, im just voicing my opinion.
