i grounded out my cd player..

alright yesterday i was working with my cd player and forgot to disconnect my battery and i shocked the cd player on the ground...and that just grounded out the cd player. and after that my clock on my gauge cluster turns off when my car turns off now and it resets and my dome lights dont work and my seat belts dont move forward my i open my door ( when my car is off that is). whats wrong?

check your fuses. you probably blew the radio fuse in the kick panel

Yeh its a fuse... Int lights and radio are on the same fuse.

If your clock turns off when lamp lights are on - Its your TCM, hands down. Also check your gauges; if theyre lit when your headlight are off (tough to see during the day hint hint) problem solved, TCM..

I'm pretty sure the TCM controls the seatbelts too...so try replacing that.

Transmission control module....... controls automatic transmission..... there is a seat belt module under the center console.......there is also a control module below the transmission control module also called a control module... that one controls the dash lights. its located behin the engine control unit (ecu)

its problably a fuse i had the same problem as you and i just changed some fuses and it worked fine
