I've had a leak for some time now in the rear driver's side of my car. My suspension fluid has been leaking, but I can't be sure if the fluid I see on the ground is suspension fluid or something else. The fluid looks clear and does not mix with water and that's the only spot on the driveway. Here are some pics, mind you it's been raining here too:

I'd be concenred of the impact it has on rubber ... would be scaryt o think your slight leak is weakening sections of your tire .

Which fluid leaking from that area would be the worst for my tire?

I moved the car further back in the driveway to see if I can see a fresh leak. Looking at the spot in relation to to where the car is parked, the spot is under the middle of the trunk area approx. (The car was parked in the middle of the driveway.)

The reason why there are 2 spots is probably, because I drove the car after parking there the first time and I must have parked a little further back the second time.

The blue rectangle represents where the car was parked and the black arrow points to the spot. The other stains are the ones that look like they are from the rear left tire area, shown in the first post of this thread. (The car was parked to the left of the driveway.)

In that area U only have:

Gas Tank= which would evaporate so rules that out. Diff= Which if the fluid is the same as on the ground maybe possible. Brakelines= Which this maybe in the area of the T-Lines where they join. Active Suspension= If U have may be from this.

You need to get the car up in the air should be easily found. If active suspension, brake fluid levels are lower than they suppose to be this will let U know also.

check which of your fluids are getting low. this should get your answer. you have said about rain in your area. may just be water. check your brake fluid. and or your shocks but that seems to be too much for your shocks to be leaking

You can't mistake the smell of brake fluid and diff fluid stinks to high heaven. Gotta ask the obvious. Have you taken the time to jack up the car and take a look at what might be dripping?
