I got the GForce chip...anyone?

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I did a site search and didn't see anyone start a thread on this...so....

I notice the link on our home page here for the GForce performance chip and took the plunge. Easy enough to install and all but still being winter here haven't had a true test for either gas mileage or increased horsepower.

This is my company car and I'm not going to go and have a dyno test on it but wanted to know what others have experienced. I can tell you with the amount of highway driving I do I had one tank that I filled up next to the interstate and got back on and drove 100 miles at 72-73 mph and my computer said I got 26.2 mpg. I have been in the 25's before but never in the 26's. Still not as empirical as the evidence I will get when the weather warms a bit.

I have hammered it and it seems like there might be a little more gusto but not mind blowing. My brother-in-law bought a 2012 EX and I'm gonna ask him for a drag race somewhere safe and that is about as empirical as I'm gonna get.

Anyone else…experience?

Dude, your post made me to briefly read on this cheap and seem I to get mostly negative reviews. However, I couldn't get any hard test results - just opinions. People say, supposedly this chip simply tricks the cars computer into thinking that the engine is colder then it is and somehow it affect the amount of fuel and rpm, etc. Would be interesting to find before and after tests.

I would think that it alters the fuel/air ratio a bit to run hotter. At least that is how you get more HP, by running more air, which in turn leads to hotter cylinder temps. I thought that aftermarket chips did that, no?
