I bought a 260pc. craftsman "mechanics" socket set. A this thing is beast. I bought it for the truck to be able to go work on cars away from home.My home collection is lacking so future air tools too come.

I have been fixing little things here and there in the car I am driving until my truck gets its swap. The moved alot of the of the stuff from in front of the parts truck so I am hoping to do some work to this thing and get that motor back home and back in action.

Anyone wanna tell me why an impact socket set costs so much?

Can I use normal sockets for normal stuff?

imact sockets are much stronger and can take a lot more stress... if you are yousing an air tool, make sure to use the correct tools for it..... or make sure you have warrenty on them, cuz you probably crack regular socket on an impact wrench..... i know craftsman is lifetime warrenty on some items..... you would have to check and see if your covered!
