So off we went to South Grand, near St Louis University.

The Saab just got the hood and a section of the passenger door repainted. Picked it up from the paint shop a little over week ago.

Went driving with doggy a few nights ago.

Sitting at a stoplight on South Grand, I heard a *splat* followed by another. A bird crapped on my car in three separate places. One on the carpet, one on the door panel, and another on the paint. It was all over my arms and some even got on my face. Not a very pleasant prequel to dinner.
Just a few seconds after being pooped on I heard a *THUD.* A lady in a silver Dodge Magnum rear-ended me. Wasn't a huge impact, but I definitely saw it and felt it.
I got out to assess the damage. The driver side of the rear bumper was pushed in but none of the metal was affected. Meanwhile, she was bleeding like a faucet. Apparently she closed her door on her finger which caused it to split open and drip everywhere. I handed her some shop towels that were in the trunk and took her contact information.

Passenger side of rear bumper. Looks normal.

Driver side of rear bumper. Bumper cover now touches the body.

When I got home I found blood on my feet and sandals.

Gross.
I called her at dinner to check in and make sure she was okay. She joked, "This is God's way of punishing me for what I did." She left a pretty thick trail of blood all over the street.
I'm hoping I can just have my body guy use a clamp or something to force the bumper out.

The food at Pho Grand was REALLY good. $6.95 for a bowl of beef broth, rice noodles, and rare beef.
