i got po'ed at power steering pump

umm well suffice it to say i got pissed off at the power steering pulley and accidently pounded the hell out of the bolt that the pulley is supposed to go onto now the thread is all messed up...any ideas on how to rethread this thing? thanks

Hahahaha, I have no suggestions...but way to go, sounds like something I'd do, but I would probably break the pump itself

Get yourself a tap and die set. If you look around you should be able to find one on the net for cheap. If you go to sears they can be a bit much.

Sometimes you can rethread some bolts and such. It might work, if not more tools for the tool box.
