Was it much funner to drive than your G? (was it or yours 6spd or both auto or what?)

Yeah, I don't quite understand. A 350z is the same car, how can it be more of a blast than the G??? My G makes me want to get up and go to work everyday because it is such a kick to drive.

Congrats on your new Z. You won't regret it. I always tell everyone it was the best bad investment I ever made.

NICEI like that.I sold my 1974 454 4-speed Vette and traded my Spec V to get this Z.I know it was a good choice!

I know that the G35 is heavier, and I think it has a few less horsepower.

well its officially rated at 7less HP than the Z, and its also about 1oo lbs heavier depending on model/Trim but you're not going to feel .1 in the 1/4 while driving. And i gurantee you wont feel the extra 7hp through your butt dyno

The Z feels different than the G. The G is much more comfortable, but you can tell that it is a bigger car than Z. You can't really feel any difference in the power. The only real difference I felt in performance was cornering at alittle speed. The Z was a little quicker and felt lighter on its feet if that makes any sense. She had the 6 mt. The shifts in the Z are easier than those in the G that I have driven. I still prefer my G to the Z, but they are both great cars all around.

Keep an eye out in the meets section.in March we will be having a great BIG lexington meet. ;)

One thing that I liked about the Z over the G (other than price) was the sound that the motor + exhaust make.Thats the extra 7hp.If I had an extra 7-9K to spend I probably would have got a G35c.

Any G owner will prefer his G over teh Z. Same thign but other way around for a Z owner. Everyone tries to defend their car.

I dorve it today and put over 200 miles on it. only 1000 more to go, then I can get over 4krpm's.It drove like a dream and even though I had to keep it under 4krpm I got a good feel for the car.I took a few on and off ramps at 2X+ the posted speed limit."This car corners like its on rails."

Good idea.So far the used 03's are selling for almost the same price as 04's at dealerships. If you find a person who needs to sell their car the you can get a good deal.;)

the styling on those cars is really starting to grow on me, though I still wonder what they were thinking with the door handles, think I'd paint them to match the car if I were to get one, but that's me.

done any donuts or other assorted fun driving stuff yet Jezter??

As everyone has pointed out the differences between the G35 Coupe and the 350Z. Both cars have different chassis. They may share the same engine (not same setup), but there are plenty of differences.

Dane,How about a race? I think you did well with your current acquisition. I prefer the Z car over the G, but I really dont think you can go wrong with either car.

No tire cherping or anything yet.Still driving under 4krpm's for break in.

As far as the door handles, I love the way the are. They have 3 small squares indented in them as well as the spokes on the wheels and the Z logo so it all flows well with the car.
