I got MY grille AND an audio/video system with PS2

Ok so here we go. I got the cima grill yesterday, installed it, looks very nice. The audio and video system was installed about a month ago, but didnt have time to take some pics. I just wanted to tease you guys a little bit. I'll post the pics when I get home. I kno I kno, I'm mean.

OK calm down ppl. I promised you pics, here are pics. And a lot of em. For the start a before and after for the grille. The horns you see behind the grille are Bosch Super Horns that are sooooo loud that I really feel sorry for any one standing in front of my car when I honk.

Hey Martin! Have you ever gotten a ticket for NOT displaying your front plates?

Dmitri, I'v gotten only one ticket for no plates so far. My car was parked at college and the city gave a ticket for that. The problem is my front bumper was cracked and I put a new one. The body shop guy made the holes for the plates without tryin the plates on. So the holes dont match, and I dont wanna make new holes. So i just got a dbl tape, attached the plate to the bumper, took the car for inspection, they dismissed the ticket and i took the plates off again. I've never been pulled over for no plates although the cops here are REALLY picky about that. They pulled over my bro once, but they let him go. So I guess it's the car. hehe. Knock on wood.

None of you guys told me the correct size for the pics yet. At least tell me if you guys can see the pics or not, because it takes forever for my browser to load them. I got looooot of pics. I bet you guys want to see them all and how the screens look.

I've gotten two tickets. One was....actually both were at LAX. The first one was in a parking lot while I was out of town. The second, I was just driving around the terminals waiting for my wife's flight and a motorcycle cop pulled me over.

I use Mozilla so my photos come in a little smaller than IE.

I'v smoked the rear tailights black. I had a ticket for this once but u kno, u never learn, it looks nicer this way. So here are cpl of pics of my car's ***.

Ok, now it's time for the good stuff. I sold the Bose stock stereo and wanted to put a all in one instead of that (like the dbl din screens with navigation, and dvd player etc). Then it costed a lil more then i wanted to, and plus i found out that its illegal to play a DVD up there while operating the vehicle, and ofcourse it takes your attention away from the road. So i decided to put the the screens in the headrsest. It would cost me about the same but now i'd have 2 screens instead of one. So the stock stereo went out and i got the new stereo and the DVD player with the 2 screens. Here is how it looks.

Never been a fan of smoked tails, IMO, the stock candy red and clear looks way better. Grille is nice, like the one I got for sale.

How come you've got West Side in your sig, but you live in Glendale?

Now about the stereo. Its Panasonic CQ-C7403U. Dbl Din, plays MP3, WMA, Satelite ready, and I-Pod read. It even has bluetooth, so when I get into the car, my phone is connected to the stereo, and i get the calls on the stereo and can listen to the voice from the car's speakers. So watch out F50 guys. It can be set at a TILT, has 3 different angles of it. Also has an AUX input from the back, thats were the DVD cables go in, so the sound goes str8 to the speakers. The stereo had a built in amp, so at first they told me that they need to do a whole rewiring for the speakers and wanted to rip me off. Then i found out that there is a converter that u can hook it up to, and there is no more need for rewiring. Got the converter and stuck it up their.... so now the stereo works with the stock speakers. Here is a pic of the stereo when its open. And another one set to a TILT

LOL Falk. Glendale IS on the west side. Meaning the West Coast. Plus I live on the West Side of Glendale. So its all about the WEST. BTW, i got two factory grilles right now. Would you sell them for me? and i want to change the nissan emblem on the grille and need the hood ornament. Anyone has a package or kno where can i get em from? thanks

Moving on... So the best thing about this is that I can either put the stereo on the auxilary and listen to whats playin on dvd, or i can put it on CD, and bump my music while the DVD is playing. My passengers can listen to the DVD thru the headphones which is connected to the TV's.

The display of the stereo is Blue Dotted Matrix. Has several modes. can be set to a video mode, picture mode, equalizer mode, TEXT Mode (which reads the name of the CD and the File) and the clock mode. You can make your own videos and photos, convert it to its specific file format on the computer, burn it on CD, then put it in the stereo, download the new graphix on the stereo's memory, and it will the show your OWN CUSTOMIZED graphix. Crazy huh?

I forgot to tell you the best thing about this babe. It has an option. U can use the rear speakers only as a subwoofer. When I put em on, it is sooooooooooo loud, it feels like there is a subwoofer inside. Once this lil latino kid drove up next to me, bumpin his 1989 Toyota Carolla. i put the speakers on and put the volume up, he got scared. He turned around and closed the windows of his car, which were about to break

Ok, so the one on the bottom is the DVD player, nothing special about this one, except that it has and AUX in on the front, thats where I hook up the Playstation to. Needless to say it has two lines. The PS2 lines come from the back and come out from the side next to the sit. I did it like that cuz the PS2 is not in the use the whole time. When I'm not in the parking lot pwning some newbies in soccer, the wires are all put away. Here are some pics.
