I was in the 350Z and i was doing donuts in the parking lot well a donut then a drift then sat there smoking tires. To make a long story short I left the to go pick up my Altima and drop off the Z by the time I got back 10 mins later the cops were making us leave the lot. But we have a 2nd spot we chill at so every one just picked up and moved to our back up spot.

Why am I posting this I don't know just wanted to talk about my boring weekend.

My car club was a lil upset with me but I did not care. :D

You didn't care you were being an idiot in a parking lot and made everyone else leave? ... then you come on a board and post about it like it was cool?

People like you are why people everywhere can't go out on saturday night meets without being harrassed by the Police.

Sheer stupidity and lack of regard for your other enthusiasts

How many are in your club? Did they really even care if you had to move? Its not like its a big deal to get in your car and drive somewhere else. Sounds like you were having a good time, but yea, be more discreet (sp) next time!!!!

Yeah I know what you mean. 99% of time I don't even drive fast when I am at my car club meet.

There was only 10 cars in an empty parking lot, by the end of the night there is about 200 cars out there. The cops came by to other spot and told us they rather have us out in one spot then roaming the city street racing. Since there is more then one car club at this one spot, so we are allowed to meet up again at this spot. Every once in a while they break us up cause some one does something stupid. Two months back we got kicked out for music begin to loud (SUV with to many speakers showed up).

I am not saying what I did was cool or for any one else to do it just talking about my weekend. I do care we were kicked out but after two mins every one was talking about something else and no one in my car club seemed to care.

Well at least you seem to have some idea that your actions were stupid, but also keep in mind that the owners of the lot now have more ammo to boot you out with. The police do and will complain to the owners at times as well. If you don't do stupid stuff then there is no reason for the cops to kick you guys out.

:D The owner of the lot does not mind us out there we asked THEM before we ever started plus one of them comes out and hangs with us in his NSX.

It was a passer by that complained that we were out there doing burn outs. In a year this the 3rd time we have been thrown out the other time was because they were having some sort of hair up there ***. It was out of the blue you need to leave for no reason thing.

Passers-by suck. :)

This world needs more smoky burnouts and donuts in empty parking lots at night.

Did I mention our very generous sponsor, Tire Rack? :D

I find it odd that people get together late at night in parking lots. I tried to congregate in these bizarre mobs once to see what the appeal was... only to find myself lost and confused.

 A nice way to turn something dumb into a sweet plug for the site NICE but I have tires for life through Nissan so as long as I own the 350Z I get free tires.

Well, we just sit around and talk about stuff. Very little car stuff goes on, just kind of a place for all of us to oogle some (occasionally) decent cars and hang out. A few qerk offs (you know who you are;)) do go race, but not everyone does it.

My buddies broke out the mini bikes at our last meeting and got the local 5-0 when they went across the street into the Wal-Mart parking lot and did burnouts, cart pulls, and drag races. Security guard called on em. Luckily, they got verbal warnings and we all got a lecture.

yeah so burn outs are very tempting when you have Free Tires For Life.

you and your club should try talking to the owner of a racetrack. they usually have real big skidpads, the kind where they don't care so much if you and your friends set something up with them to do donuts and burn outs in. In fact you could just hold skidpad drift school/events.

as it is, you are the douche with too much money ****ing things up for everyone (and making cops, business owners, hell your own club hate you).

But then again, if I had that much money, and free tires, and an utter disrespect for... everyone (I have the latter already) I'd prolly be spinning some smoke every chance I got too. yeah.*shrugs*its still more fun for me to worry about my driving someplace where I don't also have to worry about getting ... ticketed? arrested? dunno, depends on my driving.

That is a good idea I am going to check into that. We have a park here they use for auto crossing I am going to call some people and see what happens.

My friends and I had to voluntarily leave out play spot behind FedEx Friday night. We only play there at night after they close, the managers don't care and I have a friend that works there as a truck driver. We left because somebody complained to us so we stopped playing and left for the night. Private propery with permission= no cops. Nick
