Woohoo!!! I just got my car back from the body shop. She got backed into a couple of weeks ago and was in the shop from Monday-Friday; just from being backed into by a Frod Explorer(mis-spelling intentional). The other guy's insurance was quick and I had an Grand Prix rental during the downtime. The shop was really good. I wrote down my odometer before leaving and they added less than a mile to it, so no one took my car for a spin. Jacki is cleaner than ever! They detailed her and topped my tank off. What service! If it wasn't for dealership prices, I'd recommend Helfman Ford's body shop to anyone.

It's great to have your car perfect again after a fender-bender. Congrats! :)

Great dude, just happy this didn't end badly and that your safe man. You live in missouri city? I live in sugar land, just wondering how far away helfman ford is, I need to repaint my 240. If they're as good as you say, then I might give them a shot.....

Sky- I mentioned it on the Board, but I didn't make a thread about it. I didn't feel like flaunting her injury.I feel strange enough keeping the broken plate cover as a reminder.

Wingzero- I recommend Helfman's body shop, if you have the money. I loved their service, but if it was my money I would have gone elsewhere. What part of Sugar Land are you in? I live near F.M. 1092.

not too far from Hwy.6 & Lexington. I work at the smoothie king on hwy.6. Just for having a 240, drop by sometime and I'll hook you up with a free smoothie, look to see if there's a black civic outside though. Yeah, money is kind of an issue right now, might have to find somewhere else to paint the car. Hell, I'm just glad there's someone else around here with a 240, sugar land is the riciest city in texas.

I appreciate the smoothie offer, but I can't have any dairy. If you guys have sorbet, that's something I'll take you up on.

Make sure you don't go to some hackjob shop. Ask around and see if they are a BBB member.

as for the rice...:Werd

thanks for the advice dude, don't worry, no dairy. Believe me, sugar land is the mecca of rice. The only 240 I've seen in the whole town belongs to a guy who lives down my street, and even that one's still kind of ricey. You ever go to westheimer or post oak on weekends?

Some people have their tastes, but when I see an Xterra with a wing on the roof...:puke. I used to go to Westheimer all the time. My recent employment at Phobia, combined with my rehearsals and butt-load of school work has left me unable to go.
