She's a 1992 240SX SE Coupe with a S14 VLSD, Ingen Intake, H.U.D., clifford alarm, custom exhaust, high flow cat... and a blown motor. It came with a spare motor so I have to pick up a few spare parts missing for the swap and throw it all together and I'll have one hell of a fun car, no sunroof, power everything, I already have all the components to reinstall AC, all thats left is getting it all somewhere to work on it, I'm excited.

I paid $1200 for her, there are supposedly 100K on the new motor but he wasnt quite sure, its a KA24DE. its a 5 speed, and I havnt quite decided if I' putting the intake on yet, it was reportedly the death of the previous engine I'd definately be willing to trade for some headers since I need a header anyways...lol I'm so giddy right now :)

they say thats what happened but from what I can see there is a hole in the block and a missing manifold......aaaand it comes with an intake manifold drilled for direct port, it may have indeed been killed by water, buuuut I'm thinking it could have been boost or laughing gas........

hydrolock = water inducted into the block normally via a CAI, and since water doesnt burn, the motor locks up. I dont understand why people dont just buy a bypass valve..... if you keep the CAI, please buy a bypass valve.

ooooOOooo, ok, nevermind, already knew about that, just didnt know thats what it was called, gotcha, and yes ,if i ever get a cai (although i dont think i would bother with a shortram) i would def get a bypass valve, as we get floods around here ALL the time

whooohoo the engine is finally out of the car after my buddy had a couple big burly bikers come and pull it out, so all thats left is waiting for my parts to come in (going to pay the guy for the mounts hopefully in the morning)....so as soon as those come in and i buy a torque wrench the reassembly shall begin :D :D :D
