Some of you may remember my sputtering problem with my SR (blacktop) . Well nothing has changed but i did find three very, very tiny holes in my right side intercooler piping after the hot pipe and JB welded them up. Then it still did it but not as quickly and bad so i found three other tiny holes in my cold pipe... Could these tiny *** holes be the cause of it sputtering at 4000 or so RPM level? THANKs

what is your a/f at those RPMs under load? if its going way to rich then sure. in DSMs when peeps switch to BOV and don't recirc them it happens a lot (the BOV vents metered air to atmosphere and they get a huge rich spot whenever they shift)

DSM stands for Diamond Star Motors which is Mitsubishi Eclipse, Eagle Talon, and Plymouth Laser.

you need to check for boost leak.. there shouldn't be any holes throughout your intercooler piping.

I think it was something with my coilpacks actually.

1. Plug all the holes in your intercooler piping. 2. Replace your spark plugs with NGK Coppers with a small gap ... 0.032" or 0.030"3. Valley is talking about something that has nothing to do with your problem. 4. Make sure your BOV isn't leaking, tighten it down until you get light surge at about 0 - 1 PSI and you should be good.
