I remember the struggle against the elements from my time in MN.(winter temps much of the winter tend to be as cold or colder thanmoist of AK).It was kinda fun using your car as a kinda spaceship against an incredibly hositile environment.Good Maintenance and full gas tanks were a must.

A hassle when doing it , but looking back it was kinda fun.

yah its a ton of snow , but i think ill take it over lake effect snow that micigan and minnesota gets , they get nasty wet winters we get alot of snow till mid demeber then its too cold for even snow , not much precipiatation happens around -65 , at blair lakes range where i used to work i saw -80 with the wind chill factor for the 30mph wind off the mountains , thats cold . no way to get out there other than by chopper (or ice bridge every 2 years) so it makes me worry about the rotors on the blackhawk shearing off , but they never do . i miss those days

Damn snow.... When I lived on Cape Cod the snowplow driver used to think it was REAL funny to bury my motorcycle under a 20 foot drift. Jerk.

damn right , got mothers on it . i take it into a garage dureing the winter to wash and wax her so it stays nice , like fred says you have to do tons o maintence on it to keep it nice , after 3 years here she still looks new outside the ding in the roof that looks like a vampire attacked my car , caused by falling ice from a macdonalds drive thru
