I got another nissan so I'm back!

Hello everyone,

Around a year or two ago I sold my Altima and had got out of the Nissan world. Well I gave my Camaro project car to the father in law and yesterday I dropped another project off at his house.. got my hands on a 1990 240sx manual fastback with 118,000 on it. Sadly it has some rust problems in the wheel wells and rockers that could be a pain to fix but I figure it will be worth it in the end. Anyway just saying Hi again, it's nice to be back.

Welcome back. Depending on how rusty it is, shouldn't be too bad. Make sure you fix it not just make it look fixed. Get new metal in to replace the rust don't bondo over it.

118,000k means she's still a baby but make sure you keep an ear on your timing chain. When you can hear it, your guides are gone or almost there. I just got mine done with 145k on the clock. Not the easiest parts replacement.

Yeah, shes not too pretty on body. Looks like its been through hell and back tbh. But I've always wanted one so i'm going to give her new life. She came with an extra hood, passengers fender, and two lights w/ motors. So i'm good there for awhile. Basically shes rusting in wheel wells / fenders so i'm going to just replace it all. The rockers are a bit odd. They are rusting in the front and the back but the main mid section is un touched. So I figure i'll cut the holes out and re weld new metal in. I have a buddy who works in a body shop and does a lot of side work to help for the most part though. Overall the body is fairly solid and she runs great though.
