Ok guys... 2 prong question...

Im sure you know ive been fighting to get my rims on... i tried to put a 20" tire in the back seat thru the passenger side (DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS) and i got a tire mark on the top of the interior by the sunroof... i dont want to touch it before i know what will remove it, its just a tire rub...

#2 is.. whats the best stuff to get bugs off the front bumper with, and how should i do it (before, after, during a wash).

Endless thanks...p.s. i WILL have my wheels on tomorrow! ( i know i know, pics will be posted 10 min later)I had to pick them up from my friends, and have someone follow me so i could carry them all..

You should try a gentle fabric cleaner or spot remover. You know those ones where you spray on before putting your clothes in the wash? For me personally, I would use Simple Green diluted as per directions on bottle. That stuff works wonders!

I used Simple Green to clean my wheels and it works great.

As for removing bugs... I use Turtle Wax Bug & Tar remover and it works well.

Am i the only person that sees "WAX REMOVAL" as one of its uses? as far as that simply green is concerned.. im staying away!

Also, do i need to get a new set of LUGS for my new wheels? or will the factory ones work?

You may likely need longer nuts and locks.

i know the 12x1.25 is the same... the after market rims need a 60 deg. cone seat... are the factory ones those?

Hey Gang,

Here is another vote for Simple Green. I have used it for years always with great results. It is strong enough to degrease your engine but gentle enough to use on the interior.

Amen. Finally, someon who actually uses Simple Green like I do. Diluted maybe 10-15 parts water to 1 part Simple Green can be used for fabrics and other gentle materials. Give it a try, you'd be suprised at just how good it works while being gentle on your fabric.

Hey LBC, I know how you probably feel about the whole SG thing. I used to be like that when my friend turned me on to it years back. I was always like "NO WAY, ARE YOU CRAZY!!" But, after giving it a try, I'm a believer. A good test would be to get an old stained shirt and try it on that. You'll see how great it works. And it's non-toxic. Supposedly, you can drink the thing and not get sick, but I'm not about to try that out.
