I got a ticket :(

Bummer dude... There is this near deserted really fun highway that goes to an awsome climbing place on the snake river. I was going around 70 (its 50, dont know why...) and for the first time ever I see a cop. when I passed him he hit the skids and I thought I just might take off and see If he didnt chase me, Well anyway, When I fanally pulled over he told me that he should give me a ticket for 98 cause thats what he paced me at but he radared me a 73 when I passed him so he gave me a one for that. $150, bummer. oh well... it could have been so much worse, he was nice, I asked him and he said that his car was governed at 130mph, cant escape that. but it's a shame 'cause this was a really fun empty road and now I am too scared to drive on it...

Welcome to the club...I was doing like 85 (pulled outta school real fast--had to get home) but slowed to around 65 before he got me. It would have been reckless but I guess he was compassionate (that and the fact that I was shaking my arse off cuz I didn't have a license at that time;)) Oh well...now I speed, but I do it when there aren't any cops around. And empty roads are prime choices for speed traps.

I was doing over 115 on the Freeway and I passed a cop so I just exited on the next exit and escaped

i just got a ticket tonight. im already on probation for a year in the county i live in (dont know if its state wide or just county) anyways im pulling out of the mall parking lot, and my friend pulled out too, next to me, and we drive the speed limit cause i see a cop, well for some reason like a 1/4 a mile down the road, he speeds up, so do i, and before i know it, the cop pulls over my friend so i slow down, cause i want to pull a u and get the hell out of there, but i didnt. i just pulled all the way over to the right (my friend was in the left lane, a 5 laned road, intersection) and i was about to jump on the highway when he put his spot light on me. i was thinkin about running, again, but either he would have let me go and deal with my friend, or with my luck go after me, and would have arrested me. i ran from the cops last year and thats how i got probation for a year. good thing the A$$hole cop called for back up, cause i got like the nicest cop. and well we were supposedly racing since our cars are loud and we accelerated 15 over speed limit. which is BS cause i know i can beat my friends slow honda del sol

dont worry about it dude, if its your 1st see about taking def. driving. you will only have to pay like $30 or $40 and it will take it off your record.

its my 3rd... but I still can take defensive driving I think...this was the first legit ticket I have gotten though, I was ****ed the 1st 2 times... both were for 5 miles over the limit...

your license was on suspension or you actualy didnt have a licnese at all?? if suspended, what ended up happening to you b/c of it?

lol, i think he was joking..i mean why would you speed when there ARE cops around, and you make it sound easy too, i mean most of the time when people speed they think there are no cops around, cmon man think about it lol

Nope--didn't have a license at all, I was on my permit. My mom got pissed, and I ended up getting my license from that whole ordeal. All I had to do was take a driver improvement course and it got dropped from my record. And I was responding to his sarcasm with some of my own, I knew he was joking. Easy--no...not at all, unless traffics moving at the same speed you are. (Most of my driving is on the interstate)

i feel your pain i just got 2 tickets in 3 days. one for 19 over and another for 15 over it really messed with me so i decided to slow down dont need to lose my licence you know.
