so i got a call from a buddy of mine who sold me my A/C...so i asked him if they would do a trade in with my A/C for a black 370z

and he said i could just trade it in with all my mods and add about 6k and the 370z is mine..im seriously thinking about this although i do love the coupe.

but it wont be until june or early july that ill do this...so i gotta think..

anybody else thinking about getting a 370z??? i do love the coupe though

Bloody hell...I hate the Canadian markup.......I just spoke with a dude at the stealership where I bought my coupe and he told me the base price for the 370Z was going to be around $47K (even though on the website it states $40K...but still.......)

How the hell is that possible. trade in for a 2.5 + $6000 does not come anywhere close to the price of a 370z.

I was thinking of trading the coupe for the new 370 but my wife would kill me I didn't have my last vehicle for 10 months before I traded it for the coupe.

I also do not see any way in the world that the 2.5 trade in + 6k is getting you near the 30,000 for the base Z...

yes except 34/37 - 6 = 28/31...I dont know about anyone else, but I paid about 31 (after taxes fees etc) out the door for my 3.5 with premium. Now I am assuming if i went to trade in, I MIGHT get 23k(EDIT: KBB on my vehicle is 19.3k, /wrists ). There is no WAY in HELL your 2.5 is worth 28/31k trade in. You need to go crunch some more realistic numbers, or give me the number of your dealer so I can go trade my coupe in for 30k lol

i also talked to the dealership and got the same offer.. except i put 5000 grand down plus my trade i get a fullyloaded 370 for 450 a month with 20000 miles a year.. i wanna jump on that soo badly but my dam parents!!

the dealership where i bought mine was actually a friend of mine and his dad owns NXS(buying back mod'd and luxury cars) so what the plan is that his dad is going to buy ther car after i trade it in

i dont know how im just paying it so cheap but i do have a outstanding reputation at Mossy Nissan, considering all the other cars my family ever bought was all from the same place and non were ever kept longer then 2 years, thats what im thinking???

ill go see whats the deal with the cheap price.. maybe he means HALF of a 370z...

it helps if you not lease it, dealerships or stealerships like it when u downpayment more about 50-70% of the walkout price....i paid 90% of my AC in cash, so i think its why i have good business....

Bah. Its the old US conversion rate applied to the canadian dollar ( 1 Us - 75c CDN)

And then its marked up a bit more (Bit as in 3-5k more for profit and its probably a BIT harder to sell a sports Car in Canada, as our winters go for like 4-5 months , not including the west coast)

yep same for me, during cross contry it was dead set on buying one, but the 53K with markup kinda ruinned it for me.plus there is no back seats, not even place for a third person... so it can't be justified now for me. I'll wait for the new S16 from nissan and hope its a 4 seater

To the OP...Take your coupe down tomorrow and drive off in the Z...

That is an AMAZING deal...Let them worry about the resale on your coupe.

By the way...STILLEN exhaust on the 370Z lays down 18 horsepower at the rear wheels...STILLEN intake on the 370Z...ya...That's also 18HP at the wheels...There is ALOT of power left on the table with those cars.
