ok gonna answer the questions yes they are coilovers not springs
they are tein HE coilovers, sorta like low budget tein drifting coilovers and what not
currently i also have a minimal maybe 30 lbs, not even really preloaded at all, and when i dampen to full stiff it is a bit bouncy yes, stiff yes =]
from what i understand about springs, for the most part 0-roughly 40% takes an increasing amount of weight to compress until there then it is the same amount till i guess full compression
from what i read somewhere adding some preload will make the springs require more weight (or force) to compress because they are previously adding a weight lets say 10% so it would require more force for the second 10%, essentially making them sort of stiffer and since i got a full length hight adjustablility on my coilover i can do whatever preload will benefit the most,
i was just curious as to what people put on their drift set up
my friend says about 3 to 4 turns once snug on front and 2 on the rear
any thoughts??
