It says "pins recommended" but I think that Loop said that they were not needed

It's mainly for appearance if you're not tracking your car IMO. But they do look cool

i think it would depend on how much you trust the latch to hold it down. if you think it'll do the job then no need for pins. but if you have any doubts... better safe than have your hood flip up on you on the freeway

I just got mine installed and they said something about that the rubber stoppers on the stock hood are smaller than the area of the new carbon fiber hood so it has to be adjusted. But once it is adjusted it should be fine with out the hood pins.

Who makes this? Is it lighter than the stock?

I will get some pictures up soon I have the Carbon Creations GT hood and the Stillen front fascia. Also I got a custom pearl paint job becuase i had a tree fall on it in a snow storm and insurance covered a complete paint job so my friend did a 3 stage pearl that changes to blue and reddish under light. It looks great but I had to take the car back to him for a few days beucase of the hood my front fascia had the annoying gap in it and the door handle wasnt on correctly. Also my auto on and off lights arent working anymore they dont cut off on there own anymore anyone have any idea on that one?
