Ok, for those of you who don't know, this is the 4th 240 I've been negotiating, the other 3 were sold right under my nose.

this one is a burgundy 96 SE, 83,*** miles, 5 speed, eibach pro kit, 2 month clutch, 4 month front rotors, no alarm, no ABS, no LSD, mobil 1 synthetic used since 2000 and a medium sized chip in winsheild. Rest of car is in good condidtion. I'll post some pics later.

asking price is $7200 but the guy is negotiable. What starting price should I tell him?

a small chip in windshield will in 3 months become a large chip in windshield, and 3 more months after that, will be a VERY large chip in windshield.7200$ is way too much start at $5500 because that windshield is gonna need replacing

heheh sorry. kinda read over it. anyways yeah b/c of the windsheild that gets a lowering of price so..i was thinking $6000 but try $5500 if he'll go that low

If you are interested in driving all the way to Columbus Geogria....there is a 95-96 white 240 with 120k non SE.....they were asking $4000 I think. I wanted to get that ***** as my daily driver but my friend sold me his Supra, so I got that instead. The car seems clean and very well taken care of BTW.

I agree about 5500 to start with. About the windshield though, in my area it would be more around the range of 280-350 with labor. Good luck Maximus.

if its an SE shouldnt have LSD. i know all auto SE have ABS and LSD and the 5 speed can have LSD and no ABS. but yea y not start low anyway even if there wasnt anything wrong with it. try to pick out anything lil thing thats wrong it it. good luck one less 5 speed for me to find once i sell my matic

By me a winshield would be 150-175 installed. Chips don't always spread either, it depends on how its chipped.

Good luck looking at the car, expect to pay 6500, but lowball...

uh, no. sorry to disappoint you (i wish you were correct) but my automatic 1995 240 does NOT have ABS, hence to LSD. i wish it did though.

wish i had LSD, my 95 240 auto isnt SE either, so i get the crap black gauges, 4 lug rims with hubcaps, no lumbar support on drivers seat........forget the foglights i wish i had, and the sunroof, etc etc...doesnt this all sound appealing? o well, im thankful i have it and love it to death so its all good.

hey 95siliviaSE did u mean u dont have ABS or LSD. if thats wat u meant then i could understand if it was a base model which it isnt. i was pretty sure an auto se that comes has abs also comes with lsd. oh well i havent search all the different options int he models sincei bought mine last year
