I found a shop that sells RB's and SR's

have heard many bad things out of Quebec as far as engine sales go.

most likely this place simply has a resale contract from a place like Osaka.. which is know to be pretty shady quality and customer service.

Do it right.. buy from a know commodity with a proven track record. Jhot, Dragdriftautox, etc..

I got my RB20 from JDM racing motors in St Leonard Que.They were actualy good to deal with, motor was cheap, runs like a champ, delivery was fine....communication was a little bad but overall a good expierience.

Osaka is total crap...total crap.

I got my rb25 from the gents at Jarco. All i had ever heard was how dependable they where and how good things were with them

My rb25det which i payed more for. was a younger one than the other one i had origionally ordered. It had 30k on it, and....

Major boost leaks in almost all the lines, Intake manifold leaked, The power steering compressor was bad. Also I got a half cut and wanted to do something with the dash, which they crushed.

The dual halogen conversion that I also got with body panels. First off the hood had been strapped to the half cut, and they dented the hood in several places and and the fenders where awful and they said, "slight damage"

So it doesn't always depends on where you get it. ITs more like the luck of the draw. They also didn't replace or reduce my payment.

And my first engine I bought, from Joe Smooche through just searching and it was a freaking rocket. Too bad, rocket fuel is flammable and it melted to the car. =)
