i've been struggling for the past 1.5 years with the acceleration shake, and I finally found the problem.

let me start by saying "if it ain't broke, don't 'fix' it".

I took off the AP RACING 13" rotors and 4 piston racing calipers, and put the car brakes back to stock with new pads and rotors from Pepboys...this took the braking shake away completely...

...buuut...

I had the car aligned at the stealer(dealer) they decided to split my passenger CV boot too...idiots. I replaced the passenger side CV Assembly with an EMPI new replacement. I figured i may as well replace the driver side too b/c the boot was looking quite dry. I purchased both the driver side and passenger side axles from Drivewire.com(DO NOT ever purchase from them...horrible customer service, liars, and will NOT refund your money if you get a defective part). First the New Passenger EMPI Axle was defective and bent, so i returned it...got jipped...then had to purchase a new one from Kragen auto parts. TODAY i remembered that i didnt have the shake during acceleration until BOTH the New EMPI axles were installed...SO i kept the Cardone axle installed on the passenger side, but reinstalled the original NISSAN axle on the driver side. The shake is GONE, GONE I TELL YOU!!! the problem ALL along was the EMPI axles...so don't buy them.

after months of searching, i've found that Raxles and Nissan Original Parts are the best way to go as far as axles are concerned!!

Glad you got it fixed.

Raxles is definitely the best way to go on axles, especially if you're putting down extra power. Lifetime warranty FTW!

From what I understand Raxles and Nissan OEM CV axlesare NOT rebuilt, but new?
