Alright, so you guys may have remembered that I was interested in picking up those VIP wheels from my previous thread. But I decided to go another route. The wheels that I picked up are called "Elite" and they come with the sizing of 17x9 +15 front and back. I'll be rolling the fenders tonight since they are way too close to the fenders (mm's away, they scrape on minor bumps).

Anyways, here's the pics, what do you guys think of my first wheel purchase?!?

Thanks man! That's true, there isn't a single wheel out there that everyone loves.

Ahhhh Elites! How I miss them! :bigthumb:

I don't really like 17's on 240's though... unless the car is super low. I agree with Infiniti_Lineup here. I'd rather see you change their color to Hyper Silver with some 215/40/17 tires and moar low.
All the same, I approve of the pick up! :mike

Throw some 245's on them. It's a 17x9 anyways.

Good point... OP, what are you more into? Flush wheel fitment or Maximum rubber fitment?

Looks good,
I would of gotten the VIP wheels instead, i think they would have looked much better.

However those rims still look good.

+1

Definitely better than that hella flush VIP s*** you were looking at before. I actually like the green car/gold wheels combo.

Wait, are you talking to me? If so. . . . Seems by the looks of your sig, you already have the lip on it (95-96 240sx). . . And the skirts, they're from an S14 kouki (97-98 240sx).

If you're talking about the picture kalypso posted, sorry. . . I'm not into rice, I like my pasta. :lolling:

You know what's funny, when the f*** at my work saw my wheels, they said it looks like wheels a brown person would put on their car. . . They said it's such an Indian color. . . Funny thing. . I live in a city that's populated with the most Indians in my province, and I've never seen a brown person sport gold wheels. . .

And another thing they said was "gold doesn't go with your cars green". I told them straight up, it's one of the best color combo's you can have. The 2 major car colors that look great with gold wheels are white and green.

So anyways, I got a few more pics. Sorry, I had to put more brightness in the pics since my camera sucked.

Wheel color aside, you really do have a very clean and beautiful S13. One of the few that I've seen recently that doesn't have a part falling off of it or crappy bodykit on it, so do it some justice and get some nice pictures!
^^^ just poking fun
