i feel like such a ****ing newb with this one, harness

ok so i've just picked up a coupe with HUD, never had one before..and the trans speed sensor isn't apart of the transmission subharness..like it was taken out of the harness and ran directly. its weird, never seen it done like that.

1st coupe, 1st HUD..so im at a loss

also, about my sr harness, since this is MY sr swap(done about 6 other swaps that had everything ready to go in), i'm wondering..can you run a red-top harness on a black-top w/ an E5 ecu? i know the O2 sensors are different, but that can be made to work if need be

eh **** it, i'll make it work.

p.s. this is all because his dumb *** crimped together my current harness; it never idled or boosted correctly
