so my c/e light came on, i pulled the code, it said it was the secondary throttle position sensor. i put a new one on, it still runs the same. its reving up tp 3000 rpms, or more and still wont shift, i have to work the gas pedal to get it to change gears, and theres a loud knocking sound right before it shifts. its sounds awful, and im scared its gonna damage the engine worse than it already is. im not sure if the sensor, needs to be adjusted in some way, and if so im not sure how to do it. or if thats even what it is. :wtf2: if this prob sounds familar to anyone, ur advise would be greatly appreciated!!!!!! thanks.

Welcome to NICO! You can download your factory service manual at www.nicoclub.com/FSM/ for more information on the code and adjusting the sensor.

Seems like you need to do the AT-CHECK, I would show you the link to the picture but it was moved. Here is the link to where the picture WAS located: http://www.nicoclub.com/infiniti-technical-articles. Do the AT-CHECK shown in the service manual Heath pointed out and see what comes up.

What does the fluid look and smell like? (White paper towel test)

I would re-check the fluid level... not sure that it would cause this issue, but I always like to make sure something I did just before a problem crops up didn't cause it.
