one of my first project took me and my friend over 5 years. we started when we were 13 and just got it done. its a 53 studebaker with a 425 caddy motor. the ***** runs low low 10's on street tires! it was definitely worth the time and effort. you will see what im talking about if you decide on finishing this up.

Hey, at least you are able to do something with your car. Right now I am just trying to keep mine together and stock, and save money. I may do more when I get my rear through grad school.

Yeah I had the same problem when I put the greddy turbo kit on my car. I broke a headlight, dropped the broken assembly and tried to catch it (natural reaction to dropping something), needless to say I was sucsessful at catching the light, not so sucsessful at avoiding cutting myself on the broken glass on the assembly (cut between my thumb and fingers on the web part almost to the ligaments, that threw a wrench in my wrenching, and I had to just sit for a few weeks well my hand healed, moral of the story: you have 2 hands to compleat your project so feel lucky, hehe. I also feel a bit skiddish about doing my own work to my car, I just did a basic break upgrade and was freaking out about doing everything 110% correct, everything tends to work out and yeah I feel great once the job is done, best feeling ever. once your done and you push in that clutch the first time (assuming it works ) your gonna feel that pride of being able to replace a motor and trans YOURSELF, most of my friends don't know jack about cars/motors/what have you but every now and again they sit in my garage and "supervise" me, witch is a nice way to say they just sit there so I have someone to here me ***** when I hurt myself or something is harder then I though or wanted it to be........ stick in there
