Spec is trying to sell me a whole new kit. I think I can do away with just a pressure plate and bearing. The disc still looks new. I mean I drove the car for about 50 miles tops......If they wont sell me a spec pressure plate I think I may go with ACT heavy duty.

ACT is very good about selling pieces of kits like that, that heavy duty plate is stiff... be prepared. My leg hurt for about a month before I got used to it in heavy traffic.

well i put the new release bearing in last nite and the clutch engages like it is suppose to. but i noticed a rattle noise when moving. sounds like it coming from the transmission. i thought it was the exhaust but i only looked at it for 2 minutes in the dark. any input

Update!!! I jacked the car up to relaize that the noise I was hearing came from a broken stud in between my rotor and dust plate. yaayyy found that problem. I attempted to drive the car last night to work just to make sure everything was ok. Once I got onto the beltline I realized if I press the gas(75% throttle) the clutch would slip like crazy..... So went to work and on the way home I went the the store that sells freaky deaky stuff for me and the misses. Hopped into the car and pressed the clutch..... the clutch pedal would not go down at all. checked my clutch resevoir and it was full. Crawled up under the car to open the bleed valve (maybe there was some trapped air) and nothing came out. Finally pressed the clutch pedal to the floor but this time it would not come back up. Checked the resevoir again and now it was empty.... So I ran to the nearest gas station b/c it was raining, Freaky deaky shop was close and it was 12:00 o'clock....f$#@ came back and put fluid into the resevoir again and pressed the pedal to the floor. Fluid just magically disappeared again. Looked underneath the car to realize that the clutch slave cylinder took a **** on me. So I had to call a tow truck. This car seems to give me bad luck. Not sure if its even worth the headache.....

Should I have went ahead and got the flywheel resurfaced and bought a clutch disc as well or is the fault slave cylinder the problem??? I mean even with the bearing on backwards she grabbed great.
