I had a dream last night that i downshifted too late on an On ramp and spun out at 90 mph and caused a huge accident and flew off the side and everyone was pissed at me and i was going to get in huge trouble and arrested and ****....

I was very happy when i woke up and realized it didint happen.

well, if you really want to sell it, let me know. ill fly to you with parts in hand, fix it, drive to an alignment shop, and then drive it home. it will piss you off, because you will see how easy it is to fix. grab a fsm, quit complaining and wishing for a dodge dynasty.....WHO THE HELL WISHES FOR A DODGE DYNASTY!??!?! just fix it. accidents happen, cars break, its how you deal with them that shows what kind of a car guy you are...

I did something similar to mine while drifting. You know how it's harder to drift to the right (sliding left) because you can't see the right front corner? I didn't have the clearance and hit a curb of a median. I got pretty lucky, all I did was bend the inner tie rod which will make the wheel sit all weird. Oh, I also blew the tire, so now I don't have a full set of grip tires >

heres what I would do...

get your car up on a garage lift, and lift it up so that you can get under the car and fully see whats up with your suspension.

Use your passenger side arms as a guideline to whats not effed up (assuming that its not effed up as well).

Most likely you're just suffering from some bent arms which are easily replaceable and cheap from the junkyard.

Its hard to tell from the pics you provided, but from my view, its really not that bad. My cousins car was super fvcked up with all the front arms bent and his crossmember bent as well! Total cost of replacement cuz he went with my junkyard method is about 200 including all the front arms (passengerside and driverside arms were bent along with the crossmember being bent. Crossmember costed about $80 alone).

i've curbed my car, not fun. most likely struts, control arms, tie rods, and rack and pinion. from the sounds of it he didn't rev match properly and shift locked. i would shift mid turn if i had to slow down more than expected and bogged down in the gear i was in. although i shift at 2300 when i'm daily driving

You paid $3900 for that?! Also, I consider what you have into a car does not include the price of the actual car itself.Lets break this down. You paid $800 for:spark plugs (should be about $20)Vlave cover gasket ($12?)O2 Sensor ($40)Air Filter (ranges from $4 to $40)Oil Change ($30)transmission fluid change (why? but ok, $40)Headunit and speakers ($200, but you can always take those back out)I got about $367... and you shouldn't include regular maintinence into your "into it" figures. If everything you said was true (including vehicle price) my dad probably has about 60 grand into his Tundra.

I vote sack up, and get under there and fix what you messed up, and quit complaining about driving a 240sx and paying for it with your own money, after all, that is what it is for, contrary to what some people believe

Honestly, who wishes they could drive a dynasty?

You have a lot of learning to do. Stand on your lug wrench. Jump up and down on it. Get a cheater bar. MAKE IT WORK!

lol yea i am working on it right now i have the jack prepped but trying to loosen the bolts before i get the tire off the ground. they were obviously tightened by an air wrench b/c they are on there extremely tight. lol the dynasty was just bs at the heat of the moment

Nice. Baby steps man, baby steps. Patience and determination is the key. What did you end up doing for the lug nuts? Jump method or cheater bar method?

wait, what is that 2x4 going to be used for exactly? I was thinking you were going to use like a 6x6 to put under the frame rails or something. That 2x4 might be unsafe for what you are thinking (... what are you thinking?)

Dude from what I can tell, you got off easy.

TC Rod needs replacing, thats a total of 3 bolts. Now, you need some better angle pics, take a step back and take a pic looking directly into the wheel well. As if you were taking a pic of your rim.

The LCA could be bent at the hinge but its hard to tell. I truly think you got off easy.

Some of your suspension pieces will have some give to them in that they can move in some directions without damage. Your tire being pushed towards the driver door is no doubt from your driving when it was damaged. Now that its elevated off the ground, the LCA looks to be resting back in its natural spot. (note the damaged TC rod, where its broke now looks right next to each other, when the car was on the ground the gap where it snapped was much larger.

If you get out of this only needing to replace a TC rod and the buckling your fender back in - let this be a lesson to you

lol...looks like how i jack up my cars. i have the biggest fear of a car falling, hear about it way too much. i dont trust jack stands alone, ill put the tire under the car as well...just in case...along with the jack , maybe 2 jacks. lol. better safe then sorry. but yea like the other guys were saying, you definatly got off easy and **** happens bro, but u gotta suck it up and do the work yourself. lessons learned, glad to see this is being repaired by yourself. thats why nico is here. honestly there is no reason to go to a garage at all with the information here. good luck with your repair and stay alert on the roads. its bad enough women drive the way they do.

So whats the scoop? Is this shiat fixed and driving or what?

You most likely will need a wheel alignment right after - especially after that impact. Don't scrimp out or you'll be losing a front tire to uneven pattern wear.
