I thought I would share with you guys a drive I had of the monstor r32 gtst (2 wd) with 650 hp + @ the wheel.the car uses a trust forged 2.7 engine huge trust cooler 135 mm thick and twin 2835'rs.yes this is a monstor it even has a trust dog racing transmission. for alot of us pleb's we never get a chance to drive one but I know a guy who brought this car in to australia.details here of the carhttp://www.meggala.com/ther32hot.htmwell you get in the car and it starts first time and idles fine to be honest I was nervous I have drive alot fo fast cars but nothing like this. Turbos start spooling at around 3k rpm the car is qutie driveable up to 6 k rpm the triple plate clutch is tricky at first but I did not stall the car once :) also the locked rear end makes life interesting. I drove the car off boost for around 5-10mins to get familiar with it then I found a nice straight piece of road and decided to let it rip. the trust dog transmission is a pleasure to drive so tight its great I'm doing around 20 mph in first and give a car a stab in the throttle hits boost and the revcounter goes to 9500 the car doesnt gain much momentum just wheel spin .I move to a freeway to test it further coming down the on ramp in second I plant the foot the car hits 6 k rpm the wheels start spinning but the car goes straight hmmm think then I grab third still spinning the spedo goes up faster than I have ever seen I get pushed back in my seat the wheel spin become less and less grab 4th and back off I"m doing around 120 mph at this point in a 60 mph zone I catch my breath and think woah this is nuts I trundle along stabbing the car in second to get used to the wheel spin and feeling the power the same in thrid this car in nuts . we pull over and a friend gets in to drive. he knows his stuff and does quite a bit of drifting etc. he hits the line lock to check it work 4 k rpm in second hm nice then he reaslese it the car rockets off b4 I know it he has grabbed 3rd and we are going sideways. I look douwn and the speedo Is on 180 200 kph and the tyres are smoking like the jun supra video he grabs 4th and I say enough :) yeah I'm a chicken.the crazy thing about this car is you could get used to the power as for 1/4 mile time I reckon low 11.s on street tyres low 10's or even 9's on slicks . a purely insane motor vehicle.meggala

Hmmm, makes me want to kill you and take you identity.... Uhm, I mean nice story dude.

Why does it seem most stroked skylines use the Trust 2.7 kit rather than the HKS 2.8? Do the stroker kits include the pistons (as well as the crank and conn rods)?

His setup looks pretty neat. What size turbos are those? How much psi did he use to obtain 650whp's?

Awesome car!
