Guys, PLEASE give me suggestions,

I have read through many posts of everyone running APEXI n-1...WHY? What are so good about them. I was more interested in the Greddy PE2, which looks Identical, but is supposed to be alot quieter.

I am also interested in the Greddy DD (dual) and the Apexi N1-dual. If you have heard these exhaust, let me know. I am a daily driver and noise level is a big concern.

Please help with my decision~!!! Thanks guys

Sense this is in the sr20 board i assume you have or will be getting a sr20det. In that case turbos quiet down a large exhaust sthat are loud on n/a cars. I think the n1 would be a great exhaust because its not to pricey and looks good. a 3 inch exhaust maybe loud on your car while its n/a, but the turbo will quiet it down.

Dual n1's aren't loud at all unless accelerating. At 70 mph at 3k rpm you can hardly hear the thing inside the car until you accelerate.

Get a Blitz Nur Spec. It is 3 inches, has better ground clearence then the N1, sounds awesome, and looks good. This is a pic of my buddys 240SX with the Blitz. It sounds great!Tyler

The reason why some people get the N1 is because it really is a cheap exhaust. I have N1 duals, with the downpipe and hi flow cat it is kinda loud, but definately nothing I would ever expect to get pulled over for. I use my car for a daily driver only.

n1 single, best full catback exhaust dollar for dollar, IMO.

There are better exhaust, and there are better options when going race...but for the normal street application, N1 is most likely the most popular due to price, style, quality, and performance.

Yeah I was actually about to ask the same thing, cause one of the first things that's going on my SR is going to be a cat-back and I want something that is drivable all the time, i.e pretty quiet. I think I will probably go with the A'pexi, but we'll see, and I guess if it's too loud I can always use the silencer.......... Chris

If you are going with a SR, loud exhausts are not going to be a big problem. You don't need a silencer. Your turbo is the only silencer you need.

i have the n-1...when i had my ka24de, it was pretty loud. when i put the sr20 in it, it quieted down a lot. Then i also got a 3" Downpipe, now its even quieter. i have never heard the Greddy, so i can only speak from my apex...its never given me problems, so i'd recommend it. ~Scott
