Hi all.. Got 2 thingsIn my 95q.. You know how when u take ur key out of the ignition and then the steering lets up by itself. ANd when u put the key back in there.. it lets down by itself.. Well the frigging thing aint doing it.. And i push the cancel buttton in and tried it,.. and unpushed it and same stuff.. But as far as adjeting the steering, its kool. It lets up/ down, and move back and forth. But just wont do it with the key thingy. SO my next question is.. What can i do to fix it.. I tried searching for steering to see if i found something.. but nothing found..

2nd thing....I push AUTO on the a/c freaken nothing happens. I think its comming on cause i feel a lil coolness on the vents.. but nothing is blowwing. But the miinnute i raise it up to 4fans(max speed) it comes on and blows like a horse. If i push auto, it goes back off and the blower is either on 1, 2,3. So i manually try it.. I put the speed on one.. and no air; 2 no air; 3 no air; max and wooooff there comes the air. Now sometimes.. i can get in the car and push auto and it comes on regular. like its upposed to.. then sometimes it acts a fool.

Out of both of the things.. should i bother myslef with either of those things.. I just like the steering thing for luxery.. really doesnt bother me none.. but when ppl get in the car and see it.. its like WOW!!! what kinda car is this? My 93 one still werks btw

1st thing- with the steering wheel, are the lights on the memory seat thing blinking??? If so, then youll have some sort of problem... Otherwise, you could try the reset procedure. Put the key in the ignition (dont turn it, just stick it in) and open and close the drivers side door a few times....

with the blower, your blower resistor is proabbly bad. Easy to replace and costs about $60.

OMG WES... that sticking the key in and opening and closing the doors worked..> WTF how did u know tat?? And wat did that do. Me and my girl was sitting there like OMG.. how the heck u knew what to do.. Then of course she got mad and told me to find a saturn site like this.. So i may not get to sleep on the bed tonight cause i cant find one.. I do better just buying her an infiniti... n-E- ways thnx bud.ah well.. next yr february.. i might be getting my girl a nice infiniti.. Something that looks girlish.. Not like the g50 that says im the king.. Something that says im preety but yet dependable. And not as much maintenace as the g50. I think all Qs are just too big for her being that she is little. But i was thinking 2004 I35.. what ya think?

the door thing is a common problem.... In one of the TSBs, its referred to as a "reset" procedure.... You usually have to reset the thing after you unplug the battery....

Good luck finding a site like this for anything else....

An I30/I35 might be a nice choice, or a later model (99+) G20 might be a good choice too... Good gas mileage, looks good, and not to expensive, and indestructable...

i just had the same problem - got info from another site - here's the solution to power seat/wheel problem: Put key in ignition - do not turn on -close and open driver's door - should work by 3rd try - mine worked on 1st try - it's just one more of the million sensors in these things...
