I don't believe I sold my G!

I always thought I would have my G for ever. I never got tired of looking at it and the way it handled. But I got a hair up my a$$ and traded it in for something else.

I grew up loving Ford Mustangs and always said I would get one one day. Well I traded in my G and got a Mustang. Now please know I didn't just get a GT. I actually got a Roush 427R that has 427hp (about 367rwhp) and just love the car. I think if you took a poll you would get an even vote as to which looks nicer. I would even have a hard time choosing. But I do not like the 08 G and felt that they were going in a direction I just felt was different then I had hoped. The Skyline is going to be a beast but will be like all the supercars and be out of my price range. So I think I did the right thing by getting this car and I must say it is very fast I can feel a measureable difference then my 04 G35 even with custome exhaust and intake.

I don't want to loose touch with you all as I feel like I have made a few friends here and in my opionion the most verse group out there. I hope you all don't mind if I check in with you all from time to time and see how you all are doing.

How does it compare to the GT500? Looks sweet!!

It doesn't compare to the GT500 IMO. I really wanted that car but just could not jusify the $22,000 over sticker. Besides I would have gotten the Skyline for that price.

It has a LOT of torque and the super charger just sounds soooo sweet. I believe this sits a little lower (1 inch from stock) then the GT500 but it still has the 4.6 not the 5.3.

I do plan on a few mods, like a upper torsion bar in the front and back and I will see about a cold air intake. But as a Roush it has over $15,000 in upgrades already. There really isn't much I need to do to it unless I want to bore out the cyl's. Which is possible in a few years....okay months.

I would upgrade the stereo system...proll'y not much to do to the car...ECU/tuning maybe.

I don't think a CAI will matter with the blower.

Roush did do a ECU to it already but Yes I agree there is more room in there. I think the motor plays a pretty good tune and I find myself listening to that more then my stereo.

The stereo system isn't great I think the Bose system in the G was better but I now have a Ipod hook up that I didn't have before. I am thinking of a Satalite system with DVD Nav.

Just thought about another possibility...The exhaust might be a weak point...do a good CAT-back.

Trust me, the exhaust is awsome. It already is a true cat back and they tuned it for a really nice back pressure pop that really sound nice.

The custom exhaust I had on my G was really nice too. This is the same as that but a little louder at idle and softens up at crusing speed.

I will get a sound bit for you all. I really think you will like it. I am getting people all the time wanting to know more about my car at stops. I don't seek attention but this car sure does.

I'm leaning to Infiniti simply because i've never owned a domestic and from what i've heard and read about Infiniti, but I;m starting to hear and read a lot of good things about the stang too....

One day i will own both at the same time lol....
