Hello I’m very new to the 240 and don’t know much about it, but what I have herd from many people is that I NEED to buy one. So I was wondering if some people could help me out. I have decided that I want to buy a S-13 but, are there any differences in the years of the S-13 that I should shoot for. Also, I was wondering what is the difference between then 240sx and the 240sx SC. And there is one more thing I was wondering what engine is the most “user friendly” of the bunch and if all the 240s came with turbot’s. Thanks a lot and if I posted this in the wrong place please tell me and I am sorry also, please be nice I know Im a noob I don’t need to told.

i can see you are really new to the 240sx, first there's no 240sx SC, its SE and its the 1 with all the options(power everything, sometimes hicas, with viscous limited slip differential).
the 89-90 comes with the single cam engine(ka24e) then 91-94 came with the DOHC engine(ka24de), no 240sx came with a turbo, what you are thinkin is a 200sx or silvia which are the japanese, australian and european versions of the 240sx, tho you can still swap a sr20det(200sx/silvia engine which came from japan or the other places mentioned), there's many other engines that can be swapped in the 240sx with money, but the most common is the sr20det, then comes the more expensive rb series engines, the other option is turbocharging the ka24e/de.
use the search feature at the top right that blinks, that always helps.
