I bought my Z about 4 months ago and i planned on doing the TT swap about this time. Well money has gotten incredable tight so i have to sell the Z. I payed 3800 and i put about 400 into it. I cant seem to sell it. When i bought i found out about the salvaged title which didnt bother me bc looking at kelly blue book i got a a resonable price. I have had it for sale on NICO for a couple weeks and no one has bittin except for people that have called me up to meeting somewhere and they just dont show up. I am pissed I have to sell it but even more these douche bags are jerking me around. I did the Ebay thing and the guy never payed and ebay has been no help. Craigslist gets me emails but to many low ball offers. This is the first car i have ever sold and i thought i was going at it the right way but i guess not. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY ADVICE.

Trust Me....I have been there before (especially with no-shows from NC craigslist patrons). Here's my advice:
1. go to 300zxclub.com or tt.net's classified section and search for WANTED ads from people looking to get a Z322. Clean up your car so that it looks as new as possible3. Address all mechanical issues before selling because people can't wait to low-ball you on stuff that should be broken on a 15+ year old car4. Park it in a rich area where teenagers are looking for their first car, or middle-aged men are looking for car projects in order to get away from their wives (ha)5. Since it has a 'salvage title', emphasize that nothing is wrong with the car and explain why the car has a salvage title. Also remind people that salvage titles canmean a cvariety of scenarios (theft etc).6. Try to bring it to Raleigh/Durham area since they seem to have more money to spend than people in the Triad7. Also post a refined ad in trianglezclub.com's classified section and/or Raleigh's craigslist

I don't know how common 300zxs are in NC but around here you don't see them a whole lot.. I keep mine looking nice and in the past couple months have gotten at least 3-4 people stop me on the road at a light or something and asked first if it was a turbo lol and second if I wanted to sell my car.. i would go with local newspaper ads and/or maybe a For Sale sign in the window while driving around.. I sold my other car no problem that way.. worst comes to worst, you tough out the tight money times and hold on to the car just hold off on the swap
