Even though my 2008 SL AWD was pretty well equiped as we didn't have the urge to trade it in. The dealer made an offer I couldn't refused. They paid off the trade completely with no negative equity and got the 2011 SL AWD for $26,250 with all the bells. In the end, my payments went up $25 bucks. Overall, a very good deal in comparison to giving up the lilttle nookies the 2008 may have...i.e storage divider rack in the rear. Which I can giveup for Navi and back-up camera. I got a cool color, frosted steel ...

How did you do it? Were you on finance term? I still have about 4 more years to go on finance. I check the 2011 model is about 2k more expensive than 2009 MSRP price.

It depends on your current montly payment and miles. I traded mine in with 18k miles and I owe alittle less then $18k. I demanded my terms in what I wanted inorder to make it work. I'm not afraid to walk out and come back the next day. I treat them like a pet goldfish because they need your business to survive. I gave them what I wanted realistically and didn't budge. Aside from that, I did some homework. I had quote from another dealer from labor day weekend.

2010 vs 2011 it isn't more expensive. They just strip the normal stuff out and treating it like non-factory options. Things like mud flaps, rear cargo organizer, rear cargo cover...etc. I also knew how much used rogue resale and the demands here locally by trim level. (it is nuts, but folks here rather buy a used sl for $19k to $22k when they see the sticker price). Plus if you do the math, the 2010 are priced the same and without using special finance Nissan, the car is only $1 cheaper (2010: $29k window sticker - $2k to get to invoice - $2k rebates vs 2011: $29k window sticker - $2k to get to invoice - $750 rebate). Which isn't too good in my head especially all the goodie that comes with the 2011. I could of had a 2011 the lower trim level without foglight, leather and sunroof for 23,500 with navi and bluetooth.
