Here is the thing, I want to get most of the parts from a salvage yard. What I really would like to find is a list of "cars" that had factory turbo chargers (possibly on the internet "USD market") I have been looking for a while with out any luck . I realize that, I have to buy a couple of new items such as a SFMU FIC and Turbo Exhaust Manifold. the ultimate goal is to build this as inexpensively as possible .

i wouldnt get a turbo from the junkyard. it would be really hard to find a good one with low miles. you need to search around. you can do it for cheap if you do a lot of the work yourself. i have spent under $2000 on my whole project. it depends on how far you want to go. some things that would be ok to get from the junkyard would be an intercooler and other things that dont ushually wear out.

I believe you can get a T3 from SVO mustangs and Mercurs, they're .60 .63, you might find these on ebay too. Also you can modify a starion intercooler or buy it for a relatively cheap price from ebay as well. Good luck!

Thanks for the info!

BTW is there a list "US-Domestic" or "Import to US" cars that came with factory turbo chargers? I'm looking to rape ANY parts that I can!

Read the stickies on the http://www.homemadeturbo.com forum, it has lots of good info eventhough it's honda-based.
