ok i might take some flack for this, but its worth a shot, anytime i search for an s13 sr20det swap guide i get the same **** "heavy throttle" guide, which is a start, but there has got to be more out there. i had a great swap guide a month ago i found on the nico search, but after adding it to favorites i can't view it anymore. so all u 240 owners who say u did it your self, i doubt the heavy throttle guide did the trick. now i bet u guys are all gonna say ohh go do a search, BULL there **** on there. nothing of any use. pipe up and help all of us out with some links to some guids. not asking u to write them, just pass it on.

Well, I actually did my swap without relying on a guide. It was very straight forward.

If you Google the terms "SR20DET Install Guide" you'll find quite a few articles that may be of help to you.

maybe you just dont have enough mechanical incline to do it with out a "hold your hand" guide,

it is pretty straight foward

heavy throttle has mostly everything u need to know. You aren't going to find a complete step by step write-up so don't waste your time, if its common sense it won't be mentioned. I used the HT guide and had no problems. Use the faq at the top of the sr page, download the fsm at ka24detdvd.org, and use frsport.com's wiring guide. Thats it, just look at how the old motor comes out and do the reverse for the sr.
