I cant turn on to many things???

This usually happens when it rains but it been happening more often rain or shine or at night.

I think theres a short somwhere because I cant have my radio,headlights,ac/heat/defrost,windshield wipers,Etc. and when all that stuff is on everything shuts off and my head lights go to high beams and everything stays off for about 45 mins and then it resets and everything works again and I dont have an idea whats goin on......any ideas would be helpful

Let's break it down a little more systematically. What usually kills the car? Do you have an aftermarket stereo? (subs and amp?)Start by turning on lower power demanding things, then work your way up (rear defroster-> running lights-> radio (with positive amp wire unplugged)-> headlights -> radio (plug amp wire back in)) and see what kills it.

Take a multimeter and check the voltage drop across the battery with the engine running (should be ~14.4) if lower, your alternator is probably shot.

I do have an after market stereo with amp and subs......and every thing kills it nothing in particular....ive tried different combos Radio with out amp and and runnin lights,radio w/o amp and full lights, radio w/ amp and lights runnin/low/high, lights and rear defrost only/wndshld defrost only/,now both defrosts dont do a thing but add wndshld wipers and it cuts out but both wipers (front and rear) dont do a thing,bottom line more than two things on will cut it out.but randomly it will not do a thing...and I put a multimeter to it and it reads 14.6

Did you do the milutimeter test while it was having "issues"? Shows your alternator is fine, so we can rule that out.

Starting to sound to me like there might be something mixed up in the radio harness or possibly a bad connection/ short somewhere along the monster cable. Most of the time when I see a monster cable fry, however, the whole car shuts off, not just a certain few accessories, and I'm pretty sure you would get a lot larger load drop off when measuring with a voltmeter.

Was your radio prosfessionally installed? Or did you or one of your friends install it? Was an aftermarket harness used?

That still doesn't explain the windshield wipers and defroster though... Is there anything else electrical aftermarket on your car?

Lastly, this may seem a little obvious, but have you had your battery checked? Autozone will do it for free.
