i cant get it to start

ok i have a single cam car. with a dual cam in it and i just put it in there. i got the motor from a wrecked 240 and all the damage to the motor was a little hole in the timing cover. so i got a new timing cover, and i have set the timing like 100 times. it just wont start. and something weird happened the last time i tried to put the motor in time. i was twisting the disturber and i was touching the throttle body, and got the piss shocked out of me. please help i need it running soon.
