Why use an L20? They weren't that great of a motor. They were used in the standard 2000GT Skylines and first gen S30 Fairlady Z cars.

If you are wanting an L series engine, look up the L24 from the U.S. spec 240Z. It's a damned good engine and can be built to make some decent power.

the L20aET and L20A have differences. Best thing to do is use the L20a crank and build a cheater L24. High reving motor. You can bolt on the L28et components on next if desired. The early Z cars came to this country with the L20A. Search sites like HybridZ or classiczcars to find someone selling their L20. I go the rods from one for free cause nobody else wanted them. They are better for stroker motors than the L24 rods.
