Whats up all, I am trying to de-ghetto my car. The previous owner did a number with the wiring. I have been trying to get it running and wired properly. The car throws code 12 for maf, so i checked it all with a multimeter and the it wasnt getting 12v key on. So I gave it 12v key on power and bam fried the ecu. Pin 46 or 47 ac on switch, same thing that was fried on the ecu that came in the car. I am lost here, I know that the maf is wired correctly, unless the jim wolf website is lying lol. Anyone, I am stumped here. I think i may need to buy a new harness and start fresh, this is getting out of control.

Thanks everyone/

Save the headache - new harness and ECU and go from there! Don't waste anymore time trying to diagnose wiring that somebody else f*** up. It's a headache, heartache, and a pain in the ash at the same time.

Depending on how screwed-up your harness is, I can repair and wire it correctly for you. And you're using a JWT set-up? Good luck with that one. Let me know if this is something you'd be interested in.

I am not using a JWT set up, just using there website as reference for the maf wiring. Boost_boy I will text you later today. I may have found a harness locally.

Are you sure you put the 12v to the right wire?
