I have a 2001 infiniti I30. The brake lights will not turn off. I have gotten the brake light switch taken off. That wasn't the problem. The brake light were still on when the switch was taken off. I have to take the cable off my battery so the lights will not drain the battery. I need help!!!!!

You may have removed a cruise switch instead of brakelight switch, often there are two under there. If not and switch unplugged then you have an active short somewhere in the harness.
